MELVINS with BIG BUSINESS @ Grumpy's, SOLD OUT, 10:00 and JUDAS PRIEST with METAL CHURCH @ Myth, 49 bucks, 6:30 and NINE INCH NAILS canceled.

And look - two of my favorite local bands will be playing within a block of each other. If you were just too late to get tickets to Melvins, Judas Priest is just too far away and Nine Inch Nails are just too canceled, head for the Midway.

Child Bite, The Yoleus and Shoe Shiners @ Turf Club, 5 bucks, 9:00.

Gay Witch Abortion, Hondo and Blue Magick @ Big V's, 5 bucks, 9:00.

Marvelle, The Hasbeen, Fitzgerald and Harv @ Nomad, 5 bucks, 9:00. I caught Fitzgerald at the 331 last night - good stuff.

The Belfast Cowboys and The Tommy Bentz Band @ Lee's Liquor Lounge, 6 bucks, 9:00.

And this looks good too if you want to venture to downtown St. Paul and don't mind the as-always kinda steep cover - Starry Eyed Lovelies (Dave King, Mike Lewis, Dean Granros, Anthony Cox) @ Artists' Quarter, 10 bucks, 9:00.
