Tonight's the Night...

Sorry for the tease blog title, Mr. Stewart will not be in town this evening. More bad news? Unfortunately, as previously discussed with Stuffed Pheasant, I've got the consumption so this is practically after hours updating. Don't sit on the couch watching Jon and Kate Plus 8.
-Go see Merle Haggard at Mystic Lake! And check out the most creative amateur music video on youtube.
-The glue that kept Lollypop Man and the Dogfather together, Bootsy Collins, is playing a tribute to James Brown at the Minnesota Zoo. Just remember, you've got to have your sunglasses on- so you can feel cool.
-If you don't have much money to burn, there's always trivia at Pi, or cheap drinks and free punk at the Hexagon in South Minneapolis.
-Ahh, Karaoke at the Grumpy's Downtown. Unfortunately, nothing will ever compare to the evening of Korean exchange students singing "Dream Weaver" at the Country Bar. (Dweam Weeva? Of course we bought them drinks.)
-The Next Step and Dietr Popper are playing at the Uptown. The Next Step's Myspace page says they're powered by Pikachu. Read into it what you will. Hopefully there will be a seizure educing light show!
-You could always stay in with a Black Box of Cabernet and watch old David Lee Roth videos. Everyone needs a little time to reflect and appreciate the little things, like Roth's love for speed-balls and how we've all gained from it.
